Free, fun-filled holiday activities!

Are you looking for some inspiration for what to do with the little ones during the October holidays?

Why not get them out and about – in the garden, in the park, or onto the beach?! The weather – for some of the days – is looking fairly favourable too! Getting out into nature and exploring the environment has numerous benefits for children (and adults alike).

It allows little ones to embrace their curiousity, helps build their confidence and also burns a lot of energy (thank us later!).

Getting outdoors in the local environment is also a great way to spend the day without it costing a small fortune – take a picnic (Café Inc are available during the October holidays too) & get stuck in.

We have put together some spotter sheets for the holidays too, encouraging you to look for different things whilst you’re out and about. You can either open them on your device and screen shot them for when you’re out and about or we have some copies printed off and are available at The Eco Hub.

If you’re feeling super adventurous too – why not use some of the things you find from the spotter sheets to make some natural art?!

If you do go out and about – do send us photos of what you find; we love to see these!
